Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on Head of Technology with 4 years of solid full-stack engineering and technical leadership experience. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end engineering lifecycle—defining technical architecture, mentoring developer teams, establishing robust DevOps and delivery standards, and evaluating emerging AI/automation technologies to power client and internal platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & System Design: Own end-to-end technical architecture, database schemas, and API design for web, mobile, and SaaS applications across diverse client verticals.
- Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and conduct code reviews for frontend, backend, and full-stack developers; cultivate best practices for clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on Development: Actively build, debug, and troubleshoot critical path modules, complex third-party integrations (payment gateways, CRMs, WhatsApp APIs), and core platform logic.
- AI & Automation Initiatives: Architect and supervise the implementation of AI-driven features (LLM integrations, agentic workflows, conversational bots, and automated pipelines).
- Delivery & Agile Management:



Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to turn product requirements into technical roadmaps and sprint milestones.
- Infrastructure & Security: Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), server deployments, database optimization, scalability planning, and security compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 1–2 years leading a team or acting as a Module Lead / Tech Lead.
- Core Tech Stack: Strong hands-on proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems (Node.js, Express, React.js/Next.js) or Python-based backends (FastAPI/Django).
- Databases & Data Modeling: Solid command of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and performance tuning/query optimization.
- Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience with cloud services (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker), server deployment, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- API & Integrations: Deep experience designing RESTful APIs, handling webhooks, and integrating external enterprise APIs (CRMs, payment gateways, ERPs).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to quickly unblock technical challenges, establish coding standards, and translate business requirements into technical blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a fast-paced agency, digital consultancy, or early-stage startup environment.
- Exposure to GenAI workflows, OpenAI/Groq APIs, LangChain, or agentic automation frameworks.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, headless commerce) and cross-platform mobile frameworks (Flutter or React Native).
