Job Summary

NTV is looking for an experienced Technical Engineer – PCR Operations to join our Television / Broadcast team. The candidate should have practical, hands-on experience in Production Control Room (PCR) operations and should be capable of handling technical operations during live television broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor PCR equipment and systems during live television programs.

· Handle day-to-day Production Control Room operations for news and other live programs.

· Monitor video and audio feeds to ensure smooth broadcast output.

· Operate and coordinate with video switchers, audio systems, servers, monitors and other broadcast equipment.

· Coordinate with Producers, Directors, News Editors, GFX Operators and MCR teams during live broadcasts.

· Monitor program output and identify technical issues immediately.

· Ensure smooth and uninterrupted broadcast transmission.

· Conduct routine checks of PCR equipment and systems.

· Coordinate with the technical maintenance team for equipment-related issues.





· Follow standard broadcast procedures and technical protocols.

· Work effectively during breaking news and high-pressure live broadcast situations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Broadcast Technology or a related technical field.

· 2–3 years of relevant experience in Television / Broadcast industry.

· Hands-on experience in PCR Operations is mandatory.

· Good understanding of television broadcast workflow.

· Practical knowledge of live production and broadcast operations.

· Knowledge of video and audio signal monitoring.

· Good communication and team coordination skills.

· Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working in News Channels, Television Networks, Broadcast Houses or Media Organizations with hands-on PCR experience will be preferred.
