Solution Architect / Technical Architect - Life Insurance

CTC : Up to 20 LPA

CRITICAL MANDATORY ELIGIBILITY :

Do NOT apply if you do not have hands-on experience in the Life Insurance domain or technical High-Level/Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD). Non-insurance applications will be auto rejected.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect / Technical Architect with 4 to 8 years of experience to drive solution design, application architecture, and integration flows for core Life Insurance applications. You will work closely with engineering teams and senior architects to map AS-IS and TO-BE architecture landscapes across the complete insurance lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Architecture & Design Artifacts :

- Create and maintain High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), including application landscape diagrams, system dependency maps, and API integration flows using tools like Visio, Draw.io, or Lucidchart.
- Document AS-IS and TO-BE technical states across policy core systems and digital channels.

Life Insurance Domain Mapping :

- Provide solution design support for core insurance workflows :



Proposal - Underwriting - Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Claims, and Payout/Commission processing.
- Interface with core insurance platforms (e.g., LifeAsia, Ingenium, or custom insurance suites).

3. Integration & Data Architecture :

- Define REST/JSON API contracts, event-driven message flows, and source-to-target data mappings between Policy Administration Systems (PAS), CRMs, payment gateways, and portals.

MANDATORY CRITERIA :

- Total Experience : 4 to 8 years in IT Solution architecture.
- Domain : Minimum 2 years of direct experience in the Life Insurance domain (PAS, Underwriting, or Claims).
- Design Deliverables : Hands-on experience drafting technical design documents (HLD, LLD, Sequence diagrams, Data flows).
- Technical Stack : Working knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, JSON, RDBMS, and basic AWS/Azure cloud concepts.

DEAL-BREAKERS :

- Your experience is strictly in Banking, Retail, Telecom, or Healthcare without Life Insurance exposure.
- You have only worked as a Developer/Coder or QA Lead without owning Solution Design/Architecture.
