About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Team Leader to manage our US Commercial Energy campaign from our Siliguri operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US energy sales, electricity/natural gas campaigns, deregulated energy markets, or US utility/supplier processes and be capable of leading a sales team toward consistent conversion and quality performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The Team Leader will be responsible not only for team performance but also for agent coaching, call monitoring, objection handling, campaign knowledge and daily sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and manage a team of US energy sales agents.
- Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Monitor live calls and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Conduct daily huddles, product/process training and role-play sessions.
- Train agents on US commercial electricity and natural-gas processes.
- Ensure agents understand deregulated energy markets, utility vs. supplier, rates, usage, contracts and supplier changes.
- Assist agents with complex customer objections and closing techniques.
- Monitor call quality, compliance and sales performance.
- Track KPIs including calls, connects, qualified leads, bill submissions, quotes, conversions and closures.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective coaching plans.
- Work closely with QA, Operations and Management to improve campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate daily performance reports.
- Support new-hire training and nesting.
- Listen to calls regularly and identify opportunities for improving pitch, rebuttals and closing.
- Ensure agents follow approved scripts, disclosures and campaign procedures.

Required Experience

Mandatory / Strongly Preferred





- Experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor / SME / Trainer in a US voice process.
- Prior experience in US Energy / Electricity / Natural Gas / Utility / Deregulated Energy is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of US commercial energy sales.
- Experience handling sales or lead-generation campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of objection handling and sales closing.
- Ability to train agents on energy terminology and campaign processes.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust coaching, monitoring and team-management abilities.
- Comfortable working with US business customers and decision-makers.
- Willingness to work in US business hours/night shifts as required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can actually lead from the floor, not just manage attendance and reports.

The right candidate should be capable of listening to an agent's call, identifying exactly where the agent is losing the customer, demonstrating the correct pitch/rebuttal and immediately coaching the agent to improve conversion.

Candidates with US Energy campaign experience as a TL, SME, Trainer, QA or Senior Sales Agent are encouraged to apply.
