Role Description The Team Leader – Collections will oversee daily debt collection operations, ensuring timely recovery of dues while maintaining professional and respectful interactions with customers. This full time role is on-site in Ulhasnagar and involves managing a team of collection agents, monitoring performance, and implementing collection strategies aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing accounts, analyzing repayment patterns, assigning workloads, handling escalated customer issues, and providing guidance and coaching to team members.

The Team

Leader will collaborate with the finance and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies,



optimize collection processes, and prepare regular reports on collection efficiency and portfolio risk. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, enforcing compliance standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Team Leadership and people management skills to guide, motivate, and develop a collection team.
- Candidates should possess solid Debt Collection experience and Customer Service abilities to manage accounts and handle customer interactions effectively.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to assess risk, interpret data, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage escalations professionally.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with collection regulations, compliance standards, and ethical recovery practices.
- Relevant experience in collections, banking, NBFCs, or financial services is preferred; a diploma or degree in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and collection/CRM systems and be able to work on-site full time in Ulhasnagar.
