- Perform and review monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online

- Provide support for QuickBooks Online migrations, including data review, setup, and transition support

- Demonstrate strong, hands-on expertise with Bill.com, including workflows, approvals, and review

- Support select clients using QuickBooks Desktop (limited/occasional use)

- Prepare and review advanced reconciliations, accruals, and supporting workpapers

- Reconcile loan accounts by matching balances and payments to lender statements and ensuring proper

interest and principal coding

- Update and review fixed assets and depreciation schedules (e.g., Fixed Assets CS)

- Prepare and review payroll accruals, prepaid expenses, and other accruals with strong documentation

- Verify tax liabilities such as sales and use tax with appropriate workpaper support

- Review intercompany and related-entity transactions

- Record and review class allocation entries, where applicable

- Ensure all necessary reconciliations are completed accurately and timely

- Run and review financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Accounts Payable, and

Accounts Receivable

- Review current-month and year-to-date financials for accuracy and consistency, including comparisons to

prior month and prior year

- Research and prepare high-level commentary for significant variances

- Interpret financial data to support U.S.-led client meetings and discussions

- Publish and issue management reports

- Prepare and review annual 1099 filings

- Support sales tax preparation and filing as part of monthly and quarterly close processes

Team Leadership & Development (Approximately 30%)

- Perform initial reviews of CAS Associate work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to firm

standards

- Provide timely, constructive feedback, coaching, and technical guidance

- Support onboarding and ongoing training of CAS Associates

- Serve as an advocate for CAS Associates by communicating challenges, ideas, resource needs, and

training opportunities to the U.S. team





- Ensure deadlines are met and escalate risks early with clear, proactive communication

- Create a collaborative setting that encourages learning, idea-sharing, and continuous improvement

- Help develop CAS Associates toward their next level of responsibility and confidence

- Collaborate with U.S.-based CAS leadership on creating and improving training materials, workflows, and

documentation

- Raise issues, ask questions openly, and surface ideas or concerns without fear of blame

- Contribute to a positive team culture rooted in gratitude, respect, and shared success

Education, Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA-equivalent credential, with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and a

desire to continue deepening technical expertise

- Prior experience overseeing or mentoring at least one team member

- Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience

- Ability to review workpapers and ensure adherence to firm standards and procedures

- Comfortable working in a remote, team-based environment with overlapping U.S.

Eastern

Time hours

- Expert-level experience with QuickBooks Online

- Strong, hands-on experience with Bill.com

- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop (limited/occasional use)

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured reconciliation

workpapers

- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, fixed assets, and balance sheet-focused bookkeeping

- Working knowledge of advanced U.S. GAAP topics, including lease accounting

- Experience with LeaseCrunch or similar lease accounting tools is a strong plus

- Familiarity with CCH Engagement, Karbon, or similar systems preferred

- Comfortable working within documented processes while contributing ideas for improvementRole & responsibilities
