Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Surveyor at True Value Home Solutions. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting detailed property assessments, taking accurate measurements, and documenting existing home conditions using digital tools and client-provided information. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project requirements, preparing survey reports, creating diagrams or sketches as needed, and coordinating with project managers, estimators, and installation teams to ensure clear, complete information for each job.

The Surveyor will communicate with clients and internal stakeholders via phone, video calls, and email to clarify project details, answer questions,



and verify site information. The role also involves maintaining organized records, following company standards and safety guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of survey processes.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate measurements, property assessments, and basic layout or diagram preparation.
- Strong skills in documentation, data entry, and maintaining organized digital records for multiple projects.
- Proficiency with common office and collaboration software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, project management tools).
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings in clear, accessible language.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a methodical approach to verifying information.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in home improvement, construction, property surveying, or a related field is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in construction, engineering, surveying, or a similar discipline is an asset.
