Role Description This is a full time, on-site Supplier Quality Engineer role based in Pune City. The role involves evaluating and qualifying suppliers, conducting supplier audits, and monitoring supplier performance against quality standards and contractual requirements.

The Supplier Quality

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement of incoming materials and components. Daily tasks include reviewing inspection reports, analyzing nonconformities, maintaining supplier quality documentation, and supporting root cause analysis and risk assessments.



The position also requires regular communication with suppliers to align on specifications, standards, and improvement plans.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Quality to assess and qualify suppliers effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Supplier Quality Management and Quality Management to oversee supplier performance and align with organizational quality systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to ensure incoming materials and components meet required specifications.
- Relevant experience in precision engineering, aerospace, automotive, or related manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with familiarity in tools such as 8D, FMEA, or SPC.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards, and communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience with ISO or other quality management systems, and proficiency in documentation and reporting tools.
