Senior Stores Executive -

Summary

Responsible for managing inventory and purchasing procedures of raw materials and other supplies used in our company. Keep materials flowing into the company so that execution of projects can continue to flow out.Review and processes the requisitions for materials the company acquires. These include records of the goods, materials, supplies and services received, as well as any other information or documentation required by law, regulation or policy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs
- Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
- Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
- Identifies the reason for the extra consumption of the raw material by collecting information from the projects department
- Enter data into the database and making changes in them periodically
- Record and assess all materials quality, movement, and expenditure
- SOP for all material & stores related works
- Weekly MIS to the Management
- Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
- Work with management to identify supply needs.
- Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.




- Periodical stock audit and ensuring accuracy in maintenance of stock records, utilization of resources, utilization of materials and implementing fool proof systems to eradicate losses / wastages.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Care and preservations of materials.

Key Result Areas:

- Planning and execution of warehousing
- Record maintaining of all materials.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Setting up layout and ensure productive space utilization
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Forecasting the requirement of materials

Key Performance Indicators:

- Accurate and zero error records and reports of material
- Timely submission of all material & stores related reports and MIS
- Plan and ensure availability of material for the smooth running of projects
- Optimum utilization and proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
