Company Description STEMx Group is a pioneering organization in K–12 STEM education, introducing cutting-edge technology-based learning since 2016. The company was among the first to bring LEGO Education’s hands-on robotics, coding, and early STEM concepts into classrooms and training centers. STEMx operates offline studios in Bengaluru, India, located in Whitefield and Indiranagar, and runs an online STEM program with learners from multiple countries including India, Dubai, the USA, Singapore, England, Nepal, Canada, and Japan.
The team has partnered with over 100 schools across India to deliver in-school STEM programs. For more than seven years, STEMx founders have collaborated with parents, teachers, schools, and governments to create playful, impactful learning experiences in areas such as robotics, coding, 3D printing, electronics, and drones.
Role Description The STEM Educator/Trainer/Mentor will design and deliver engaging STEM lessons and workshops for K–12 learners, focusing on robotics, coding, electronics, drones, and related technologies. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves teaching at STEMx studios and partner schools, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
Responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with STEMx curricula, preparing instructional materials and kits, and assessing learner progress through activities, projects,
and feedback. The role also involves mentoring learners during competitions and exhibitions, collaborating with other educators to continuously improve content, and communicating regularly with parents, school staff, and program coordinators to ensure a positive learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience facilitating STEM or technology-focused learning for K–12 students.
- Ability to develop structured Lesson Planning and Training materials that support hands-on, project-based learning.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to different age groups and learning styles.
- Comfort working with robotics, coding platforms, electronics kits, and emerging STEM tools; willingness to learn new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a related field preferred.
- Experience teaching or mentoring in classroom, studio, or workshop settings, ideally in K–12 environments.
- Robust organizational skills, patience, and a learner-centered mindset, with commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru (Whitefield, Indiranagar, and partner schools) and manage a consistent full-time schedule.
