Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Statutory Audit role based in Gurugram.

The Statutory

Auditor will perform end-to-end statutory audits, including planning, risk assessment, testing of controls, substantive procedures, and finalization of financial statements in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing client books and records, evaluating internal controls, verifying compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and documenting audit findings clearly and accurately. The role involves coordinating with client finance teams, responding to audit queries, preparing working papers and schedules, and contributing to audit reports and recommendations.

Auditor will also support senior team members in managing multiple assignments, adhering to timelines, and maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of statutory audit processes, auditing standards, and applicable financial reporting frameworks (e.g., Indian GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS as relevant).
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and understanding of internal controls and risk assessment.
- Ability to work with audit tools and productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including explicit documentation of audit work and professional client interaction.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial and non-financial data for audit conclusions.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team, take responsibility for assigned tasks, and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent (completed or pursuing), with prior experience in statutory audit preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and occasionally travel for client engagements, as required.
