Position Summary The IVF Staff Nurse provides specialized clinical care, emotional support, and patient education to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, ICSI, and egg/embryo donation.

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical Care & Monitoring: Administer fertility medications, hormones, and IV therapy as prescribed by the fertility specialist.
- Ultrasound & Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians during transvaginal ultrasound monitoring, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and IUI procedures.
- Recovery Care: Prepare the procedure room, ensure sterile protocol, assist during surgical procedures, and monitor patients post-procedure in recovery.
- Laboratory Coordination: Coordinate closely with the embryology lab regarding egg/embryo status, semen collection, and specimen handling.
- Patient Coordination & Scheduling: Maintain patient treatment schedules, coordinate lab work/ultrasounds, and communicate test results (e.g., blood hormone levels, pregnancy tests).




- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR), medical history, and consent forms in compliance with reproductive healthcare regulations and clinic standards.
- Emotional Support: Provide compassionate care and counseling to patients navigating the stress and anxiety of fertility treatments.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant state or national Nursing Council.
