Staff Content Designer — Salesforce CDX (Bengaluru/Hyderabad)

About The Team The Salesforce CDX (Content Experience) team builds products that are easy to use and set a high bar for user experience. Content designers work collaboratively and iteratively with design, engineering, writing, research, and product partners to bring these experiences to life.

Responsibilities

- Lead content design and information architecture, ensuring logical, intuitive, and scalable narrative flow across complex product ecosystems.
- Write UI text and decide where/how it's delivered in-app; establish standards and reusable patterns for in-app communication.
- Partner with research and design early in the product cycle — framing problems, defining content vision, and aligning cross-functional leaders around customer-centered outcomes.
- Present to stakeholders, peers, and senior leadership to drive alignment and buy-in.
- Independently select and apply AI tools for prototyping, UI text, and research synthesis, critically evaluating AI-generated output for accuracy, tone, and trust before publishing.
- Audit existing content and design patterns for AI-readiness, prioritizing fixes by impact.
- Improve information architecture for both human and AI discoverability.
- Articulate where human judgment adds value AI can't replicate, and influence how AI-assisted features are designed.
- Mentor designers and share AI best practices across the team.

Skills Required





- Excellent in-app writing/editing skills and eye for design and information architecture.
- Experience working closely with product designers or as part of a UX team.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Ability to adhere to styles/processes; learn new technologies quickly; strong attention to quality and detail.
- Strong team player and customer advocate.
- Proven, independent use of AI tools with critical evaluation of AI-generated content for quality, accuracy, and trust.
- Experience auditing content/UI for AI-readiness gaps and closing them.
- Located in (or willing to relocate to) Bangalore or Hyderabad.
- Portfolio required with application.

Preferred Skills

- 8–10+ years managing complex content projects as a content designer or in an allied role.
- 4+ years developing/implementing design-centric content strategy.
- Strong collaboration skills partnering with stakeholders to identify customer scenarios and prioritize content.
- Ability to write across UI text, onboarding, and other content types.
- Experience partnering with SMEs to obtain, clarify, and validate content; strong customer focus writing for engineering audiences.
- Experience leading cross-cloud or multi-product initiatives for cohesive end-to-end customer experiences.
- Ability to define and evolve content standards, governance models, and scalable systems across teams.
- Robust IA skills for both human and AI discoverability; experience shaping (not just documenting) how AI-assisted features are designed.
