As a Staff Accountant at FARO CREAFORM, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, supporting month-end activities, and contributing to the financial strength of a global technology company.

This Staff Accountant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, solving problems, and continuously improving accounting processes. You will work closely with various teams across FARO CREAFORM while helping maintain the integrity of our financial operations.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and record journal entries while ensuring the accuracy of financial data
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when required
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities
- Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit processes
- Contribute to process improvements and accounting system optimization initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across FARO CREAFORM to ensure efficient financial operations

What will help you succeed at FARO CREAFORM

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation completed or in progress is considered a strong asset
- Relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting,



or corporate finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingualism in English is an asset; frequent collaboration with international colleagues and business partners may require communication in English
