Job Title: Senior Accountant (Statutory & Internal Audit)

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory financial requirements and leading internal audit activities to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.).
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and tax laws.
- Support in preparation of tax audit reports and other regulatory submissions.
- Plan, execute, and report on internal audits across departments and processes.
- Monitor the implementation of internal audit recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with internal control frameworks.




- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit trails and financial transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline and data accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and audit findings to management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA), or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and internal audit.
