Senior Site Supervisor – Job Responsibilities

- Site Supervision
- Supervise and monitor daily construction/site activities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Manpower Management
- Allocate workers and assign daily tasks.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and work performance.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials.
- Quality Control
- Check the quality of workmanship and materials.
- Ensure work follows required standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Identify and rectify quality issues promptly.
- Safety Management
- Ensure workers follow site safety rules and procedures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Report and address unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Material Management
- Monitor material requirements, deliveries, storage, and usage.
- Avoid material wastage and shortages.
- Coordinate with stores/procurement teams when materials are required.
- Progress Monitoring
- Track daily and weekly work progress against the project schedule.
- Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
- Inform management about delays, problems, or additional requirements.




- Drawing & Documentation
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Maintain site records, checklists, measurements, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with the engineering team regarding drawing changes.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and other departments.
- Resolve site-level technical and operational issues.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
- Housekeeping & Site Discipline
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the site.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored.
- Maintain valuable site discipline.
- Final Inspection & Handover
- Monitor completion and finishing works.
- Assist with inspections, snag rectification, and project handover.

Key skills: Leadership, team management, construction knowledge, drawing reading, quality control, safety awareness, communication, problem-solving, and reporting.

Pay: ₹11,819.92 - ₹50,036.45 per month
