SENIOR HR GENERALIST

Location: Pune
Human Resources Experience: 8+ Years Employment
Type: Full-Time (9 hrs), work from Pune office (6 days working)
About Spardha School of Music
Spardha School of Music is a growing music education organization committed to making quality music education accessible to students across India and beyond. We are looking for an experienced and mature Senior HR Generalist who can independently manage HR operations while also contributing actively to talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Mandatory Requisites
- MBA in Human Resources / Human Resource Management is mandatory.
- 8+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably covering both HR operations and recruitment.
- Excellent English communication and conversation skills.
- Pleasant, professional and approachable personality.
- Composed and patient, with the ability to handle sensitive employee situations maturely.
- High level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of HR processes, employment practices and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR activities.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and HR-related software/tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee records and documentation.
- Maintain employee data, attendance, leave and other HR-related records.
1. Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from manpower requirement to onboarding.
- Source and screen candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct initial HR discussions and assess candidates for suitability.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Support recruitment planning and ensure positions are closed within agreed timelines.
1. Employee Life Cycle Management
- Manage the complete employee life cycle, from joining to exit.
- Manage employee exits, resignation documentation, notice periods and clearance.
- Coordinate Full & Final (F&F;) settlements and exit documentation.
1. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll inputs and payroll generation.
- Ensure attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions and other payroll inputs are accurate.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams/vendors for timely salary processing.
- Address payroll-related employee queries and discrepancies.
1. HR Policies & Compliance
- Assist in developing, implementing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees are aware of organizational policies and HR guidelines.
- Handle policy-related queries and provide appropriate clarification to employees.
