Role Description The Sr.

Fashion

Designer will lead the design and development of collections across ready-to-wear, resort, occasion, and bridal lines, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.

Responsibilities include conceptualizing seasonal themes, creating detailed sketches, selecting fabrics and trims, overseeing embroidery and surface embellishments, and guiding garment construction from prototype to final production. The role involves conducting fittings, collaborating closely with pattern makers, sampling teams, and production units, and refining designs based on fit, comfort,



and market feedback. The Sr.

Designer will also support trend research, mood board creation, and collection planning, while mentoring junior designers and contributing to lookbooks, campaigns, and brand presentations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion concept development, including sketching, collection building, and trend interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, texture, and material performance for various silhouettes.
- Expertise in Embroidery and embellishment techniques, with the ability to develop intricate surface designs and coordinate with artisans.
- Advanced Fitting skills, with a deep understanding of pattern adjustments, garment construction, and size/fit consistency.
- Proficiency in the construction of garment.
- Proficiency in design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator or similar), mood board creation, and technical specification sheets.
- Prior experience in high-end contemporary or couture fashion, preferably in womenswear and occasion wear.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with design, sampling, production, and styling teams.
- Relevant fashion design degree or diploma from a recognized institute, or equivalent skilled experience.
