Role Description The Application Engineer will support the integration, validation, and application of Intel- and NVIDIA-based embedded computing solutions, including Single Board Computers (SBCs), networking, and communication interfaces.

The role involves understanding customer requirements, supporting technical evaluations, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), product demonstrations, and system integration and Technical Support while working closely with internal engineering teams, technology partners, and customers.

The engineer will also provide technical troubleshooting and application support, contribute to technical documentation, and evaluate emerging technologies in embedded and high-performance computing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Embedded Computing & System Integration
- Support integration, validation, and troubleshooting of SBCs, embedded computing platforms, peripherals, and communication interfaces.
- Support hardware-software integration, Linux configuration, system testing, and debugging.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of hardware and software issues.
- Develop basic scripts, utilities, and test applications for validation and automation.
- Product & Application Engineering
- Understand customer requirements and support technical feasibility studies and product selection.




- Support POCs, product evaluations, demonstrations, and application development.
- Assist in product customization and application integration based on customer requirements.
- Evaluate recent embedded computing technologies and platforms for potential applications.
- Customer & Technical Support
- Provide technical support during product evaluation, deployment, and system integration.
- Participate in customer and partner discussions to address technical requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and technology partners to resolve technical issues and drive them to closure.
- Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare technical reports, application notes, test reports, and integration/troubleshooting documentation.
- Work closely with hardware, software, firmware, product, and business development teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Desired Technical Skills
- Embedded systems and Intel, PPC and ARM SBC-based platforms
- Linux / Embedded Linux
- Hardware-software integration and system-level debugging
- Ethernet and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with embedded interfaces such as SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, USB, PCIe,1553, ARINC etc.
- Programming/scripting knowledge in C/C++, Python, or Shell
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and customer communication skills
