Development of steady state and dynamic process simulation models for system sizing and optimization using Aspen plus and/or Aspen Hysys.
Perform pressure relief system analysis in Aspen.
Development / Review of PFD and P&ID;'s
Perform & Review of Process engineering calculations such as Mass & Energy balances, process / utility pipeline sizing & pressure drop calculations etc.
Perform & review of process calculations related to sizing and selection of process / utility equipment
Preparation & review of specification data sheets of chemical process equipment's, utility systems & ETP systems.
Co-ordinate with various stake holders of project execution team for execution of process engineering deliverables
Co-ordinate with various vendors for selection of process equipment & Technical evaluation of vendor quotes for process equipment's and other utility/process package items.
Communicate with onsite / offshore team for executing the projects.
Manage a team of process engineers for execution of Process engineering scope in various project with Quality and on time
Travel to Client site within India or abroad for assignments requiring short/long term deputation.
Skills Required
Hands on experience on performing steady state and agile Process simulation using Aspen plus / Aspen Hysys is a must.
Hands on experience performing PSV sizing and pressure relief system analysis using Aspen plus / Aspen Hysys is a must.
Process Modelling, Data Analysis, Programming/Script writing.
Experience of working in process design engineering activities in any of the industries such as Engineering Design Services / Agrochemical / Pharmaceuticals / Bulk drugs / Fine Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals / FMCG
Handson experience in execution / review of various process engineering deliverables as outlined in mentioned above.
Knowledge on calculations related to compressible fluid, Incompressible fluids - both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids is a must.
Knowledge on development of macros with VB code in MS Excel will be an added advantage.
Experience managing a team with minimum 3 team members
