About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our database solutions to support various business applications. The role involves creating and maintaining effective database structures, writing complex SQL queries, ensuring data integrity and security, and providing ongoing support for database-related activities.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A strong understanding of MySQL architecture and administration is essential, along with proficiency in SQL query writing and performance tuning. Candidates should have experience working with stored procedures,



functions, triggers, and views, as well as a solid grasp of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.

Knowledge of database backup and recovery processes, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting is required. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated objects such as tables, indexes, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design and implement database schemas, ensuring optimal relationships and data normalization.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform regular database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities to prevent data loss and ensure system availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.




- Collaborate with software developers and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and support application development.
- Assist in database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering database structures, processes, and security protocols.
- Implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls and data encryption practices.
