Company Description Orange Child Development & Rehabilitation Centre (OCDRC) is a multi-disciplinary pediatric intervention clinic supporting children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities. The centre provides specialized services in Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Counseling, Sensory Integration Therapy, and Individualized Education Programs. Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication disorders in a pediatric setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and documenting progress in line with clinical protocols. The role involves close collaboration with parents, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and effective home programs.
The Speech Language
Pathologist will also participate in case reviews,
contribute to individualized education planning, and support parent education and counseling related to communication and feeding issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment and intervention for pediatric populations.
- Ability to evaluate and treat Communication Disorders, including articulation, fluency, and voice issues.
- Expertise in managing Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language difficulties.
- Knowledge and clinical experience in Dysphagia assessment and treatment for children with feeding and swallowing challenges.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum conditions, and neurological disorders is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and engage parents in therapy plans.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and evidence-based practice standards.
