Salary: ₹10,000–₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, compassionate, and skilled Special Educator to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves working closely with children with diverse developmental, learning, behavioural, and intellectual needs and supporting them in achieving their academic, functional, social, and emotional goals.

The ideal candidate should be patient, child-centric, observant, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team involving Special Educators, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, psychologists, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) based on each child's needs and goals.
- Conduct structured educational and functional activities to support children's development.
- Work on academic, pre-academic, cognitive, communication, social, and functional skills.
- Adapt teaching methods, learning materials, and classroom activities according to individual abilities.
- Track and document each child's progress through regular observations and session notes.
- Coordinate with therapists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to intervention.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress, challenges, and home-based strategies.
- Manage classroom routines and promote positive behaviour and participation.
- Create engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Participate in assessments, case discussions, parent meetings, and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.




- Stay updated with current special-education practices, teaching strategies, and evidence-based interventions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- RCI-recognised qualification and valid RCI registration preferred/required as applicable to the role.
- 1–3 years of experience working with children with special needs preferred.
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities, learning difficulties, and individualised education.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Good documentation and observation skills.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and preparing learning material.

Candidates With Experience In Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental conditionswill be an advantage.
