Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for strategic sourcing and supplier development for electrical category.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery, and service performance.
- Execute RFQ activities, commercial negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Drive dual sourcing and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard recent transformer suppliers.
- Conduct cost analysis and should-cost modeling
- Manage commodity price impacts and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate supplier audits, capability assessments, and qualification activities
Preferred candidate profile
- Should be engineering graduate
- Excellent verbal and written skills for driving cross-functional and supplier alignment.
- Strong presentation skills
