Solution Architect C&I; Renewable Energy (Open Access)

The pre-sales technical engine. Owns customer requirement assessments, hybrid sizing (solar+wind+BESS), PPA tariff modelling, landed-cost calculations, technical RFP responses.

Key Responsibilities

Build the customer landed-cost model: ex-bus tariff + wheeling + CSS + additional surcharge + ISTS + banking + losses vs. DISCOM HT retail tariff escalation curve

Analyze customer consumption load curves, contract demand, time-of-day patterns, sanctioned load, power factor

Size optimal solar/wind/hybrid + BESS configurations using in-house tools

¢ Build state-specific savings calculators (KA vs MH vs TN vs TG)

¢ Track KERC/MERC/TNERC/TSERC orders that affect deal economics

¢ Support post-PPA design freeze and EPC handover

Must-Have Qualifications

¢ Post-graduate in energy management or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/EEE/Energy Engineering or Graduate/Post-graduate from NISE, NIWE, SSS-NIBE, GERMI, NPTI, MGIRED, TERI etc.

¢ 24 years of experience; 2+ in solar/wind C&I; pre-sales or project development

¢ Hands-on with Excel-based PPA financial models





¢ Working knowledge of CEA Technical Standards for Connectivity, GEOA Rules 2022, and at least 2 state ERC regulations relevant to their territory

Valuable-to-Have Qualifications

¢ M.Tech in Energy Systems or Renewable Energy

¢ Experience with BESS sizing, RTC/FDRE products, hybrid plant optimisation

¢ Prior employer: Amplus/Gentari, CleanMax, Fourth Partner, Sunsure, Mahindra Susten, Tata Power Solar, ReConnect Energy, Mercados EMI, Customized Energy Solutions

Engineering-mind, customer-comfortable. Often a Technical Sales at a top-5 developer who is the 'go-to numbers guy' for the regional sales head. Wants more autonomy, owns customer relationships, willing to visit customers.

¢ Cannot build a landed-cost waterfall in Excel inside an interview

¢ Has never personally walked a customer site / done a load-curve study

¢ Treats wheeling and banking as 'back-office issues'

¢ Has worked only on rooftop CAPEX a very different commercial motion from OA
