Role Description The SolidWorks Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for custom signage and wayfinding systems, ensuring designs meet structural, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing CAD layouts in SolidWorks, refining designs based on client and internal feedback, preparing fabrication-ready drawings, and collaborating with production and installation teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy. The role also involves reviewing design specifications, conducting basic engineering checks, contributing to design improvements, and maintaining organized documentation for ongoing and completed projects.





This is a full-time, in office role based in Borivali, requiring close coordination with shop floor and project management teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, with proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical drafting.
- Candidates should possess Technical Drawing and detailing skills to produce accurate fabrication and installation drawings.
- Candidates should possess knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability of signage solutions.
- Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D;) to explore new materials, mounting methods, and design innovations in signage and wayfinding.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site measurements, and client specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in signage, fabrication, or construction environments is an advantage.
