Software Trainer – Amity University Patna

Location: Patna, Bihar

Position Overview

Amity University Patna is looking for an experienced Software Trainer with strong technical knowledge and practical computer laboratory experience to support students through hands-on software and programming training.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and practical sessions on computer programming and software applications.
- Provide hands-on training to students in computer laboratories.
- Plan and conduct lab sessions, practical exercises, coding assignments, and technical demonstrations.
- Guide students in programming, debugging, problem-solving, and software development concepts.
- Maintain and manage computer lab activities, including software installation, configuration, system readiness, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure required software, programming environments, tools, and applications are properly configured for practical sessions.
- Monitor student performance during practical/lab sessions and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare lab manuals, practical assignments, exercises, and training materials.
- Coordinate with faculty members regarding practical sessions, lab requirements, and student training.
- Stay updated with relevant software, programming languages, development tools, and emerging technologies.





Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Prior experience as a Software Trainer / Technical Trainer is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in computer laboratory training and practical sessions.
- Solid programming and technical knowledge.
- Experience in software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and lab management will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Profile

- Candidates with experience in Universities, Colleges, Educational Institutions, Training Institutes, or EdTech organizations.
- Strong practical knowledge with the ability to conduct engaging hands-on laboratory sessions.
- Candidates who can independently manage and coordinate software/computer lab activities will be preferred.
- Patna/local candidates and early joiners preferred.
