Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and testing of software solutions that integrate with RFID and inventory management systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, assisting with back-end web development tasks, debugging and resolving issues, and participating in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers.





The intern will collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement features, integrate APIs, and improve system performance and reliability. Additional tasks may include documenting technical specifications, contributing to software prototypes, and learning best practices in software engineering and secure system design.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including RESTful APIs, databases, and modular code design.
- Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to analyze problems, learn new technologies quickly, and work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in RFID, inventory management, security-focused systems, or retail technology is beneficial.
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail when documenting and reviewing code.
