About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead our UI efforts at DPDZero. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about owning the frontend vision, advocates best practices, and thrives on mentoring full-stack developers to deliver a world-class user experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with the backend team, product managers, and designers to craft intuitive, performant, and scalable interfaces that power critical workflows for financial institutions and borrowers across India.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate product requirements into explicit, scalable frontend implementations
- Partner with backend engineers to design clean APIs and efficient data flows
- Write clean,



well-tested Vue.js + TypeScript code; uphold frontend standards through code reviews and documentation of components and patterns
- Own frontend features end-to-end — from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and optimization
- Continuously optimize UI performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience
- Mentor and support other engineers through feedback, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance
- Help set standards, guide tooling decisions, and shape engineering direction

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer including experience in frontend development with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js architecture patterns (Composition API, Pinia/Vuex) alongside modern tooling like Vite
- Experience writing robust test suites with Jest, Vitest, Cypress, and Vue Testing Library
- Familiarity with modern frontend toolchains—Git, CI/CD pipelines, error monitoring (e.g., Sentry)
- Proven ability to take full ownership of frontend features from design through deployment and maintenance
- Experience mentoring engineers and helping shape team culture

Nice to have

- Experience building design systems, applying WCAG accessibility standards, or crafting UI animations with Framer Motion or GSAP
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment with mobile-first products
