What we need:

Brady Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer II to join its engineering team in Bangalore and help design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. In this role, you will work across the full stack, building backend applications with Java and Spring Boot, developing RESTful APIs and microservices, and contributing to front-end development using ReactJS and NodeJS. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, reliable applications while supporting database development, automated testing, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.

What you'll be doing:

- Design, develop and maintain backend software applications using Java and SpringBoot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end developers,



and quality assurance engineers to develop scalable and reliable software solutions
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain front-end screen developed in ReactJS, NodeJS
- Develop and maintain database schema and queries using SQL /NoSQL
- Develop and maintain automated tests for software solutions
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
- Continuously improve software engineering practices and processes

What you’ll need to be successful:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Java and SpringBoot development
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with software engineering best practices, such as Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with non-relational databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
