About the roleYou will build and operate the systems behind BytesBrains’ products — Cruise, domains, business email, and the hiring platform agents already call. Much of the work is agent-facing as well as human-facing: clear contracts, structured errors, and flows that do not depend on a UI-only path. You will own features end to end, using coding agents every day and shipping through pull requests like the rest of the team.

What you will do

- Design and ship production services and product surfaces for Cruise, domains, and email
- Keep APIs and callables agent-usable: documented shapes, structured refusals, no UI-only dead ends
- Use coding agents daily for real tasks — and review agent-generated changes with the same bar as human ones
- Work in GitHub every day: branches, pull requests, code review, and CI as the default path to production
- Write tests that lock the behaviour we care about, not only the shape we expected
- Debug production issues across processes, VMs, and containers, and leave the system clearer than you found it
- Review peers’ work for correctness, security, cost,



and design clarity (SOLID, DRY, and similar judgment)

What you will need
- 3+ years building and shipping production software
- Hands-on daily use of coding agents for real engineering work, and judgment about when not to trust them
- Daily fluency with GitHub version management: branches, pull requests, reviews, and basic CI
- Working knowledge of operating systems, VMs, and containers — enough to reason about how software runs in production
- Solid software design habits: SOLID, DRY, modular boundaries, and readable diffs
- Transparent written communication — agents and humans both read what you leave behind

Nice to have
- OpenAPI-first or service-API design for external (including agent) callers
- Payments, domains, email, or other money-adjacent systems
- Experience owning a feature from design through deploy and support
