Position Summary

Raaho is looking for a Software Development Engineer Full Stack with 23 years of experience. This is primarily a backend/product engineering role responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting services that power Raaho's core products. The engineer will work closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams and own systems end-to-end.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Build microservices and event-driven workflows for logistics, payments, trips, operations, and other business-critical systems.
- Work with Go, Java, Python, Node.js, or equivalent backend technologies; design efficient data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and related databases.
- Integrate internal and third-party APIs, make scalable architecture decisions, and work with asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, callbacks, streaming, and event-based systems.
- Debug production issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and deliver reliable fixes.
- Own services and features through design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support; collaborate with Product, Operations, Frontend, Mobile, and other Engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews,



engineering standards, technical documentation, and improvements to development and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Experience- 2 to 3 years of professional software development experience in product engineering, with strong programming fundamentals and Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Required Hands-on with Go, Java, Python and Node.js; REST APIs, API design, authentication, error handling, messaging systems and service integrations.
- Required Hands-on with React, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Required fluency with Linux, Git, analyzing and debugging issues in production environments
- Required Hands-on with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD, AWS-Deployments is a huge plus
- Familiarity with concurrency, asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, or event-driven architecture is a huge plus
- Required AI-Fluency with clean code and software design principles
- Robust ownership, problem-solving, communication, and comfortable collaboration skills make an ideal candidate
