Qualifications:
- BE / B.Tech degree in Computer Science / Electronics or related.
Experience:
- 10-12 years experience in Automotive product development preferable in Cockpit and ADAS product areas
- Experience in Architecting end-to-end solutions in IVI, ADAS, IMS/DMS, Display, and Accessories domains.
Skills and competencies:
Must Have
- Develop and document the software architectural design, detailing elements based on functional and non-functional software requirements.
- Allocate software requirements to specific elements within the architectural design.
- Identify, develop, and document interfaces for each software element.
- Evaluate and document the timing and dynamic interaction of software elements to ensure system agile behavior requirements are met.
- Determine and document resource consumption objectives (ROM, RAM, Flash) for all relevant elements of the software architecture at appropriate hierarchical levels.
- Evaluate alternative software architectures to optimize design choices.
- Establish consistency and bidirectional traceability between software requirements and architectural design.
- Communicate the agreed software architectural design and updates to the product construction group.
- Organize task forces and actively participate in critical architecture issues to resolve technical challenges and propose corrective actions.
- Track, monitor,
and report progress of Software Architecture Design activities.
- Support the Software Development Leader, Requirements Engineer, and Product Construction teams in all Software Architecture activities.
- Propose relevant technical solutions to enhance future Software Architecture.
- Provide leadership to the team following the Faurecia Leadership Competency Development guidelines.
- Prepare strategic decisions related to software architecture.
- Communicate and exchange best business practices with peers in the SW entity.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest technical advancements.
- Ensure documentation meets Faurecia standards and ASPICE requirements.
- Handle low layer, vehicle network, diagnostic, middleware, application, HMI, and cloud software aspects.
- Monitor system performance, traceability, and logging.
- Manage calibration and product-specific tools such as ASIC SDK.
- Identify technical solutions at the software level.
- Ensure software design compliance with functional safety and cybersecurity regulations.
- Define cost optimization through design, co-design strategies, and innovation.
- Conduct software risk analysis using methods like DFMEA or other applicable techniques.
- Focus on ASPICE compliance across all software engineering and system processes.
- Experience working with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Rhapsody etc.
