About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and matured retired (preferably) person to manage the day-to-day administrative, operational, and financial activities of Runwal Estate B Building.
The candidate will act as the primary bridge between the Managing Committee (MC), residents, and external vendors, ensuring smooth society functioning, financial discipline, and a harmonious living setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Maintenance and Facility Operations
- Oversee the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of common areas, lifts, water pumps, generators, lighting, and plumbing networks.
- Coordinate with technicians, AMC vendors, and plumbers for prompt repair and breakdown maintenance.
- Conduct regular rounds of the society premises to identify maintenance issues and ensure prompt resolution.
2. Supervision of Security and Housekeeping
- Supervise, monitor, and manage the daily attendance and performance of security guards and housekeeping personnel (whether in-house or outsourced through agencies).
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols, visitor logging, parking regulations, and gate management.
- Conduct periodic briefings with housekeeping and security supervisors to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety across the premises.
3. Billing, Accounts & Financial Management (Tally Software)
- Handle end-to-end society billing, including co-ordinating and managing monthly maintenance bill generation (through SmartTown), and tracking of collections.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including receipts, payments, vouchers, and ledger entries using Tally software.
- Follow up with defaulters on timely maintenance payments in coordination with the Treasurer/Managing Committee.
- Assist the internal auditor and auditor during annual financial audits and prepare reports for the Managing Committee meetings.
4. Sundry & Administrative Jobs
- Maintain proper documentation, records of resident directories, vehicle stickers, flat transfers, and NOCs.
- Address resident grievances, queries, and complaints politely and efficiently, escalating major issues to the Managing Committee when necessary.
- Coordinate the logistics for society events, Annual General Body Meetings (AGM), and Managing Committee meetings (recording minutes if required).
- Manage correspondence with local municipal authorities, utility providers (MSEB/TMC), and vendors as needed.
Employment Type: Full-Time (10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or so) Profile Preference: Retired Professional / Senior Citizen with active health and strong administrative background
Qualifications and Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Society Manager, Administrator, or handling accounts/operations for a cooperative housing society (CHS) is preferred.
- Candidates with a strong administrative, banking, PSU, or corporate background who are newly retired are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating Tally Software for basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts maintenance.
- Working knowledge of computers (MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication).
- Personal Attributes and Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills to deal patiently and politely with flat owners.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Marathi, English, and Hindi (ability to converse in Marathi is a significant advantage for local authority coordination).
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and problem-solving attitude.
- Age/Health: Retired, medically fit, and active individual capable of handling daily on-site supervision.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
