Punekar Group is a marketing agency working with brands across strategy, content, social media and marketing execution.

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern to work closely with our team on ongoing client projects, with a strong focus on content, social media and day-to-day marketing execution.

What You’ll Do

- Assist in managing social media accounts and day-to-day content execution
- Research brands, competitors, audiences and relevant market trends
- Come up with content ideas, references and social media concepts
- Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
- Write and refine social media captions and basic marketing copy
- Coordinate with designers, creators and other external partners
- Assist with influencer and creator research and outreach
- Assist with planning and execution of photoshoots, including being comfortable appearing on camera when required for client content
- Support shoots, campaigns and other marketing activities
- Track social media performance and prepare basic reports
- Help with presentations, research decks and client requirements
- Handle day-to-day marketing tasks and follow-ups across projects

What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in social media, content and marketing
- Good communication and writing skills




- Someone who understands Instagram beyond just scrolling it
- Creative, curious and comfortable bringing ideas to the table
- Good research skills and attention to detail
- Organised and comfortable working on multiple tasks
- Takes ownership and follows through on work
- Comfortable participating in photoshoots and appearing on camera for social media/client content when required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency workplace
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar tools is a plus
- Prior internship, college project, personal content page or relevant work is a plus
