We’re looking for a Social Media Manager Intern who can help us build Kautilai’s presence across social platforms and communicate our product, ideas, and story to the right audience.

About the RoleAs a Social Media Manager Intern, you’ll work closely with the founding team to plan, create, publish, and grow Kautilai’s social media presence.

This is a hands-on role. You won’t just be scheduling posts—you’ll be involved in understanding the product, identifying content opportunities, creating content, tracking performance, and experimenting with what works.

You’ll get exposure to startup marketing, B2B SaaS, AI, HR Tech, content strategy, and brand building.

What You’ll Do

- Plan and maintain Kautilai’s social media content calendar.
- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, X and other relevant platforms.
- Research trending topics around AI, hiring, recruitment, HR Tech, startups and workplace technology.
- Turn product features, customer problems, industry trends and startup stories into engaging content.
- Write captions, hooks, short-form posts and other social copy.
- Create or coordinate simple creatives, carousels, reels and short-form videos.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats suitable for different platforms.
- Monitor relevant conversations, hashtags, creators and competitors.
- Track content performance and identify what is working and what needs improvement.
- Experiment with different content formats, hooks, topics and posting strategies.
- Help build Kautilai’s founder and company presence on LinkedIn.
- Support product launches, announcements, campaigns and startup events.




- Maintain consistency in Kautilai’s brand voice and visual identity.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in social media, content and digital marketing.
- Good understanding of platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to write content that is explicit, concise and engaging.
- Good sense of trends, internet culture and what makes content shareable.
- Basic understanding of Canva, Figma, CapCut or similar tools is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, ideation and content creation.
- Ability to research independently and turn information into useful content.
- Someone who is proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru.

Good to Have
- Previous experience managing a college, personal, startup or brand social media account.
- Experience creating LinkedIn content.
- Experience with short-form video, reels or motion content.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools and social media metrics.
- Interest in AI, SaaS, startups, HR or technology.
- A portfolio, Instagram page, LinkedIn page or examples of content you’ve created.
