Sector 62

Finko is seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media and Content Manager to manage its digital presence and content strategy.

The role will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing and evaluating content across social-media and digital channels. The successful candidate must understand how to communicate financial products clearly while maintaining accuracy, customer trust, brand consistency and regulatory compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

- Develop and execute the company’s social-media strategy.
- Manage platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.
- Prepare monthly and weekly social-media calendars.
- Create, schedule and publish platform-specific content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions and customer feedback.
- Coordinate customer queries and complaints with the appropriate internal teams.
- Track platform trends and identify relevant content opportunities.
- Avoid publishing unverified financial claims, guarantees or customer information.

Content Strategy and Creation
- Develop content aligned with the company’s business and communication objectives.
- Write social posts, articles, website copy, campaign content, video scripts, newsletters and customer-education material.
- Convert technical financial information into clear, accessible language.
- Create content explaining responsible borrowing, repayment, financial literacy and customer rights.
- Interview internal subject-matter experts to develop accurate content.
- Repurpose long-form material into social posts, short videos, infographics and carousels.
- Maintain a central content library and editorial calendar.
- Review content periodically to remove outdated information.

Video and Creative Production
- Develop concepts and scripts for short-form and long-form videos.
- Coordinate video shoots, interviews, podcasts and customer-education content.
- Work with designers, editors, photographers and external agencies.
- Create or supervise reels, graphics, carousels, thumbnails and presentations.
- Ensure creative assets follow approved brand guidelines.
- Obtain documented approval before using customer photographs, testimonials or personal information.
- Maintain organised records of final creative files and usage permissions.

Campaign Management
- Plan organic and paid digital campaigns for brand awareness, customer education and lead generation.
- Coordinate campaign objectives, audiences, budgets, content and timelines.
- Work with business teams to ensure that campaign offers and eligibility criteria are accurate.




- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct structured testing of messaging, formats and calls to action.
- Track campaign leads without overstating conversions or business impact.

Financial-Services Compliance
- Coordinate content approval with compliance, legal and product teams.
- Ensure that interest rates, charges, repayment terms and eligibility criteria are presented accurately.
- Include required disclosures and disclaimers in promotional content.
- Avoid misleading claims, guaranteed approvals or unrealistic financial promises.
- Follow applicable RBI requirements, advertising standards and company policies.
- Protect customer information and comply with applicable data-protection requirements.
- Maintain approval records for regulated and customer-facing communications.

Community and Reputation Management
- Monitor conversations relating to Finko, its services and the wider financial-services sector.
- Respond to routine social-media engagement in an approved tone.
- Escalate complaints, misinformation, fraud reports and reputational risks promptly.
- Maintain predefined response templates for common customer queries.
- Support communication during sensitive events or service disruptions.
- Prepare periodic reports on customer sentiment and recurring concerns.
- Do not provide financial advice or resolve account-specific issues publicly.

Website and Search Content
- Coordinate updates to website pages, blogs, product descriptions and frequently asked questions.
- Apply basic search-engine optimisation principles to digital content.
- Conduct keyword and competitor-content research.
- Ensure website information remains accurate and current.
- Work with technical teams to improve content structure and readability.
- Monitor website engagement and content performance.

Reporting and Analytics
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, leads and campaign performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Distinguish brand metrics from verified business conversions.
- Identify high-performing content themes and formats.
- Recommend content and channel improvements based on data.
- Monitor content-production timelines and budget utilisation.





Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Business or a related discipline.
- Certification in digital marketing, content marketing or social-media management would be beneficial.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Hindi or relevant regional languages would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of social-media publishing, analytics and design tools.

Experience
- Approximately 3–6 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing or brand communication.
- Experience in an NBFC, bank, microfinance institution, fintech company or other regulated industry is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience creating and managing content calendars.
- Experience coordinating designers, video editors or external agencies is desirable.
- A portfolio of published content or successful campaigns should be provided.
