Role Description

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to support Taaza Khabar's presence across major social media platforms.

The role involves creating and publishing social media content, adapting news stories into engaging platform-specific formats, assisting with short-form videos and visual content, researching trending topics, monitoring engagement and supporting social media campaigns.

The intern will also coordinate with the editorial team to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of news content and contribute ideas to improve audience reach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Create and publish social media posts based on news stories.

Convert news articles into engaging social media content.

Assist in creating short-form reels, videos and visual content.

Research trending topics and social media trends.

Write captions, hashtags and suitable CTAs.

Monitor basic social media analytics and engagement.

Conduct competitor and content research.

Coordinate with the editorial team for timely content publishing.

Respond to audience interactions when required.

Suggest new ideas to improve reach and engagement.





Qualifications

Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

Good Hindi and English communication skills.

Basic understanding of news, current affairs and online trends.

Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X and LinkedIn.

Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools is preferred.

Basic understanding of social media analytics is an advantage.

Ability to research independently and meet deadlines.

Students, freshers and candidates with relevant experience can apply.
