This internship is unpaid. There is no stipend and no performance bonus. Pyro is pre-revenue and pre-funding, and we would rather say that at the top than bury it. What we can offer instead is listed in full under What We Offer, and nothing on that list depends on us raising money or signing a client.

About this role

Pyro is an AI-native Applicant Tracking System: eight autonomous agents covering sourcing, screening, interviewing and evaluation, including an AI interviewer that conducts real structured interviews. The product is live in production. It is built by one founder.

You would be the first non-engineering person here. There is no marketing team for you to join. There is a live product, a website, a demo film, and almost no audience. That gap is the job.

Requirements

- Writes clearly in English: short sentences, no filler, no LinkedIn-specialist voice.
- An active, informed user of LinkedIn and X: you know what a valuable post looks like because you read good ones.
- Comfortable in Canva, CapCut or equivalent. You do not need to be a designer; you need to ship.
- Uses AI tools well, and knows the difference between a draft and slop.
- Available roughly 10 to 15 hours a week across a four-month term.

Nice to have

- Has run a social account for a club, society, student publication or small business.
- Video editing beyond templates.
- An interest in hiring, HR technology, or AI policy and regulation.
- Any background that involved a lot of writing.

What we offer





- Published work with your name on it. Posts go out credited where the format allows, so you leave with a public body of work rather than a private claim about one.
- A Certificate of Internship stating your role, dates and what you actually did.
- A written reference letter from the founder, and a LinkedIn recommendation on request. The founder is publicly contactable and will take a reference call.
- A weekly one-to-one with the founder, and visibility into positioning, pricing and fundraising, because there is no room you can be excluded from.
- Free access to Pyro during the internship and after it ends.

On academic credit: many colleges accept an external internship for credit. We have not partnered with any college and will not pretend otherwise. If yours requires one, you would be the one approaching them, and we will complete, sign and stamp whatever documentation they ask for, promptly, and take their call to verify the placement.

About the company

Pyro AI is building an AI-native Applicant Tracking System: one platform where sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation and scheduling are run by autonomous agents rather than bolted together by hand. It is GDPR- and DPDP-conscious by design, with candidate data encrypted, protected characteristics deliberately withheld from hiring decisions, and every AI judgement traceable.

We are early: pre-revenue, pre-funding, and small enough that the person in this role will shape how the company sounds in public.
