Job Summary

Role Purpose This role is responsible for strengthening disaster recovery governance by creating and maintaining DR policy framework documents. It ensures alignment with on-ground requirements and usability for reporting DR test results and playbooks across all business units and corporate functions. Roles and Responsibilities Governance, Policy and Risk Management - Provide DR resilience expertise for potential disaster scenarios to ensure technology infrastructure, applications, and services meet resilience requirements. - Maintain and update DR policy, framework, processes, test standards, and templates to remain usable and audit-ready. DR Testing, Execution and Data Readiness - Manage execution of disaster recovery strategies during IT service interruptions, including reporting recovery updates to leadership. - Coordinate and participate in DR tests, ensuring standards are followed and results reported promptly. - Capture disaster recovery data (applications, infrastructure, criticality) in BCM tools. - Provide subject matter expertise in DR test plans for various technologies and application stacks. Stakeholder Engagement and BCM Alignment - Work closely with BCM teams to align BIAs, recovery strategies, and BC/DR plans with IT dependencies. - Collaborate with resilience leads across business units and corporate functions to meet client and internal requirements. - Deliver results while working with remote, virtual, and cross-functional teams globally. Required Qualifications - 10+ years of overall experience, with 5–7 years in disaster recovery planning and implementation in large organizations or consulting. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Strong understanding of DR and BCM processes aligned with ISO 22301, and ITIL. - Knowledge of IT Business Continuity, cybersecurity, integrated risk management, DR tools, IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud technologies, application recovery, and air-gap recovery. - Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. - Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong project and influencing abilities.
