1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Major Activities

- Monitor the installation of WTG (preferably Envision)
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and tests to ensure that the system is operating correctly and efficiently.
- Prepare reports and documentation on project progress and technical specifications.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs and requirements are met.
- Manage and monitor the work of other engineers, technicians, and contractors on site.
- Post erection/ installation complete the inspection and testing checklists mentioning the observations, if any. In case of major observations/ Defects, notify site management and issue Quality NCRs/ Observation reports to EPC Partners and subsequent follow-ups to get the detects/ observations cleared.
- Witness of testing and pre-commissioning/ commissioning activities.

- Monitor the Erection/ Installation, pre-commissioning/ Commissioning activities of the following as per SOP & FQP:
- Installation of Wind Turbine Generator
- Survey of Logistic routes and co-ordination with Vendors for Safe movement of Crane, WTG Materials
- Monitoring Heavy Material Movement from Storage yard to WTG location and Reverse Logistics
- WTG Audit for punch Points and co-ordination with Vendor for closure of Punch points
- Quality in process Inspection




- Coordination with Commissioning team for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities , STPT etc.,
- Maintain a list of Consumable WTG Major parts for tracking
- Prepare the safe run / HOTO inspection check list
- Responsible for HOTO Process
- Ensuring Compliance of Applicable Standards, Regulation and Documentation.

- Inspection & Validation on Receipt of the following:
- WTG Material like Panels, Structure Material, Steel towers, Nacelle, Hub, Blade, Hardware, Lift etc.,
- Crane and allied Equipment
- Tools & Tackles for Unloading, Loading and Installation of WTG Materials
- Post Inspection complete the inspection checklist mentioning the observations, if any. In case of major observations/ Defects, notify site management and issue Quality NCRs/ Observation reports to EPC Partners and subsequent follow-ups to get the detects/ observations cleared.
- Maintaining Valid Records, Updated drawings, FQP, SOP, Checklist, DPR, Material Register, Delay Register etc.,

HSSE
- Provide input to Project Management team on HSSE observation aspect to Project Management team.
- Make observations of safety non-conformance for each contractor. Conduct discussions with contractors about safety improvements.

- Ensure PPE compliance at site as per agreed standards
- Ensure and adhere the PTW system during project phase
- Attend and conduct the TBT and Sunset meeting.
- Any safety non-compliance at site,



bring immediate attention to Project Management team.
- Ensure LTI free site during project phase.
- Create awareness of BBS and other safety initiatives

1. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

> Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional Qualification: - Post Graduation in Project/ Construction Management will be preferred

> Functional Skills

- Solid knowledge of Wind projects Mechanical systems
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in Wind energy
- Experience in managing and supervising teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on site
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

> Relevant and total years of Experience

- Overall experience: 8-10 years for Graduates / 10-14 years for Diploma Holders
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Wind project installation (Preferably Envision Model )
- Valid Work at Height certification from GWO
