Role Description This is a full-time, in office Site Engineer role based in Jamnagar.

The Site

Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors; managing site resources, materials, and labor; and monitoring project timelines, safety practices, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The role involves conducting site inspections, maintaining detailed records of progress,



resolving technical issues on site, and reporting regularly to project managers and design teams.

The Site

Engineer will support implementation of sustainable and efficient construction methods aligned with Vastunidhi Architects’ design and performance objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in civil engineering or construction management, with practical understanding of structural systems, building materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings, and translate them into accurate on-site execution.
- Experience in site supervision, quality control, and safety management, including adherence to local building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and basic project tracking or documentation systems; exposure to BIM is an advantage.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage time, resources, and multiple tasks on a busy project site, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior on-site experience in building or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Commitment to sustainable construction practices, attention to detail, and willingness to work full time on site in Jamnagar.
