Job Title: Site Engineer

Industry: Construction – Civil & Interior Projects

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor daily civil and interior site activities as per drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and Subcontractors for smooth execution of work.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Check and monitor site measurements, quantities, materials, and manpower.
- Prepare and maintain daily work progress reports and site documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for material requirements and site deliveries.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Check subcontractor work and assist with measurement and bill verification.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize material wastage.
- Maintain site records including drawings,



measurements, work orders, material records, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in construction site execution preferred.
- Experience in civil and/or interior projects will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, measurements, and site execution.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with workers, subcontractors, consultants, and management.
- Positive communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic construction software is preferred.
- Willingness to work at project sites and manage day-to-day site activities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
