Position Overview:

We are looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive to join our growing retail team. In this role, you will be the face of Variety Marbles.

You will welcome premium walk-in clients, decode their design requirements, present aesthetic material combinations, and consultatively guide them through high-value purchases.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do):

- Consultative Sales: Greet walk-in clients (homeowners, architects, and designers), understand their building plans, and suggest appropriate tiles, granite variants, or bath setups based on their budget and aesthetic tastes.
- Relationship Management: Maintain proactive follow-ups with clients who have taken price quotes, helping them finalize their selections and closing retail deals.
- Architect & Contractor Outreach: Actively engage with visiting interior designers and civil contractors to position Variety Marbles as their preferred long-term project supplier.
- Showroom Merchandising: Maintain the premium aesthetic standards of the assigned showroom zones, ensuring tile panels, mockups, and price tags are clean, accurate, and visually appealing.
- End-to-End Coordination: Prepare accurate price estimations,



check stock availability with warehouse teams, and coordinate with logistics for smooth, on-time delivery to customer project sites.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle customer questions or post-delivery discrepancies (such as transit breakages or minor shade differences) with grace, ownership, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- The Art of Selling: Strong persuasion, upselling, and negotiation skills without being pushy.
- Customer Centricity: High patience and strong listening abilities to manage long, multi-stage luxury purchases.
- Languages: Native-level fluency in Malayalam (essential for local client trust) and a working knowledge of English (to communicate seamlessly with architects and corporate partners).
- Aesthetic Awareness: A basic understanding of interior color combinations, architectural surfaces, and spacing configurations.
- Tech Literacy: Comfort using basic point-of-sale billing software, WhatsApp Business, and MS Excel for customer profiling and quotes.

Work Experience & Education Requirements:

- Education: Any Graduate (B.Com, BBA, BA, BSc). A Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design will be viewed as a massive advantage.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven sales experience in high-end retail showrooms preferred. Freshers with exceptional sales skills can also apply.
- Direct experience in tiles, granites, sanitaryware or other home design sales is highly preferred.
- Local Factor: Must be a resident of Trivandrum district.
