Role Description The Shift Engineer – Mechanical | Autoclave & Oven Operations is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. The role involves monitoring and operating autoclaves and industrial ovens, ensuring equipment performance, safety, and adherence to operating parameters. The engineer will conduct routine inspections, perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate maintenance activities, and maintain accurate logs and reports of shift operations.

Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to support production schedules, implementing process improvements, and following relevant quality and safety standards.



The role also requires communication with supervisors and cross-functional teams to address technical issues and support continuous reliability of equipment.

Qualifications

- Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills for understanding equipment, component behavior, and system performance.
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for interpreting and updating mechanical drawings and equipment layouts.
- Project Management skills for planning tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Research and Development (R&D;) skills for supporting process optimization, evaluating new methods, and improving equipment reliability.
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, especially for high-pressure and high-temperature equipment.
- Experience in operating or maintaining autoclaves, ovens, or similar thermal processing systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
