We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HAM Business Analyst with strong expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and ServiceNow. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, IT Operations, ServiceNow Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to gather requirements, define HAM processes, create user stories, coordinate UAT, and support successful implementation and enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions for ServiceNow HAM/ITAM initiatives.
- Analyze current-state and future-state hardware asset lifecycle processes and identify process improvements.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, and requirement traceability.
- Define requirements covering asset procurement, receiving, stockroom management, allocation, transfer, warranty, refresh, retirement, disposal, audit, and compliance.
- Work with Procurement, Finance, IT Operations, and ITAM teams to align asset processes with business and governance requirements.
- Support asset data migration, normalization, reconciliation, validation, and CMDB alignment.
- Define functional requirements for HAM dashboards, reports, KPIs, compliance and asset governance.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, and requirement walkthroughs.
- Create UAT scenarios and coordinate UAT execution, defect triage, business validation, and sign-off.
- Support release readiness, deployment activities, post-go-live support, and enhancement initiatives.
- Track risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.




- Ensure requirements and deliverables are properly documented and traceable.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in ServiceNow HAM / ITAM.
- Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management and asset lifecycle processes.
- Experience with asset procurement, receiving, stockrooms, allocation, transfers, warranty, refresh, retirement, disposal, and audits.
- Strong Business Analysis experience including requirement gathering, BRD/FRD, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including forms, lists, flows, reports, dashboards, roles/groups and basic ACL concepts.
- Experience with asset data migration, reconciliation, normalization, and CMDB alignment.
- Experience in UAT coordination, defect management, Agile/Scrum delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Good to Have
- ServiceNow CSA Certification.
- ServiceNow CIS – IT Asset Management (CIS-ITAM) certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow HAM implementation, enhancement, AMS, or post-go-live support.
- Knowledge of integrations between ServiceNow HAM, CMDB, Procurement, Finance, and other enterprise systems.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA or Business Analysis certification is an added advantage.
