Role & responsibilities

Customer Service & Field Support

- Visit customer sites regularly for service and technical support.
- Attend customer complaints and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of VR Coatings products.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Provide preventive maintenance and operational guidance to customers.
- Prepare service reports after customer visits.
- Coordinate with the internal technical team for complex issues.

Technical Responsibilities

- Understand the working principles of mechanical equipment, pumps, valves, and fluid handling systems.
- Identify mechanical faults and assist in corrective actions.
- Carry out basic equipment inspection, repair, and replacement of components.
- Follow company service procedures and safety requirements.
- Maintain proper records of customer visits, service activities, and spare parts requirements.

Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain qualified relationships with customers.
- Ensure timely response to customer service requirements.




- Identify recurring equipment problems and report them to the concerned team.

Support customer satisfaction and retention through effective service.

Education

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

13 Years

Industry Background

Machine Manufacturing, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Hydraulic Systems, or similar mechanical industries

Alternative Experience

Candidates with hands-on mechanical experience in car garages may also apply

Location

Chennai & Bangalore

Travel

Willingness to travel to customer locations

Driving

Two-wheeler riding capability preferred

- Basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, and fluid handling equipment
- Understanding of hydraulic systems
- Mechanical assembly and disassembly
- Use of basic measuring and hand tools
- Equipment maintenance and servicing
- Reading basic mechanical drawings (preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge for service reporting
