Role Description This full-time Service Engineer role is based in Ahmedabad with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site visits with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Service

Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of weighing controllers, scales, automation systems, and related instrumentation at customer sites. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, providing field service support, coordinating with internal teams for parts and escalations, and documenting service activities and reports.



The role also involves guiding customers on proper product use, offering technical support via phone or online channels, and maintaining safe work practices during all on-site activities.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Experience in field service, including in office installation, commissioning, and customer interaction.
- Ability to provide technical support and resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Hands-on maintenance and repair skills for weighing instruments, controllers, and automation equipment.
- Effective communication skills for clear explanations, documentation, and coordination with customers and internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Comfort with hybrid work, readiness to travel locally for site visits, and valid authorization to work in India.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, calibration procedures, and basic application software is an advantage.
