Role Description This is a full-time Service Engineer role based in Durgapur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility.

The Service

Engineer will perform in office installation, commissioning, calibration, and testing of gas detection, fire alarm, field instrumentation, and automation systems. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, carrying out maintenance and repair, and ensuring systems operate safely and reliably. The role involves providing technical support to clients, documenting service activities, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems.





The Service

Engineer will also assist in preventive maintenance planning, support customer training, and uphold company safety and quality standards during all field service activities.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in industrial systems.
- Field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, calibration, and system testing.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, and to prepare clear service documentation.
- Technical support capabilities, including remote and on-site assistance, incident resolution, and customer guidance.
- Hands-on maintenance and repair skills for gas detection, fire alarm, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial safety standards is highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required and work safely in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer tools and report writing; prior experience in industrial automation or safety systems is an advantage.
