About the Role

Innospace Automation is looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain Industrial Automation, IoT, Wireless and Electronic systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

· Installation, erection and commissioning of IoT & Automation panels

· Electrical panel wiring, termination and troubleshooting

· PLC installation, I/O testing, diagnostics and basic programming

· Installation and commissioning of Industrial Wireless & Radio Remote Control (RRC) systems

· Installation and configuration of IoT gateways, sensors and field devices

· Troubleshooting RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet and industrial communication

· Sensor, actuator, relay, contactor and control-circuit troubleshooting

· PCB-level diagnosis including power rails, signal tracing and component-level fault identification

· Basic SMD/through-hole rework and component replacement

· Use of multimeter, oscilloscope and other electrical/electronic test equipment

· Breakdown service, preventive maintenance and Root Cause Analysis

· Prepare service/commissioning reports and coordinate with R&D; and project teams

· Provide technical support and basic training to customers

Required Skills

Must Have





· Industrial electrical and electronics fundamentals

· Electrical schematic & wiring diagram reading

· PLC fundamentals

· Electrical panel wiring and troubleshooting

· Installation & commissioning experience

· RS485 / Modbus and industrial I/O

· Sensors and field devices

· Basic PCB troubleshooting

· Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability

· Willingness to travel to customer sites

Added Advantage Siemens / Schneider / Mitsubishi / Delta PLC VFD & motor control Industrial Ethernet LoRa / Wireless / RF MQTT / IoT CAN / CANopen HMI / SCADA Embedded electronics

Ideal Candidate A practical, field-oriented engineer who can troubleshoot systematically from Field Device → Wiring → Panel → PLC/Controller → Communication → IoT/Gateway → Software. The candidate should be comfortable working independently at industrial customer locations and coordinating with internal engineering teams.
